Going the Extra Mile

Dragon Investigation

Hi 2ER, we had a fantastic trip at the caves, saw evidence of a dragon but we did not see one. So I am going to sleep out at Ribblehaed with a flip cam to see if I can catch a picture of the dragon. I will need a tent to keep me warm, safe and dry, but I am not sure what material to make it from. Can you investigate which material would be best to make the tent from. Thanks for your help. Mr Roe.

Safer Internet Week

This morning our Digital Leaders did an assembly all about e-safety – keeping safe online – as part of Safer Internet Week.

They talked about the importance of making sure your parents and other responsible adults are aware of the ways you use new technologies which can access the internet, such as netbooks, iPods and PSPs.

They also talked about a really useful website called Kidsmart. This website gives you loads of really useful hints and tips about how to stay safe when you use a variety of new technologies. The website can be found here. Do check it out; it’s fab!

We want you to keep using exciting new technologies, but we want to make sure you are using them safely.

The presentation from the assembly can be found here:
